Creating surveys requires admin level account status.
- From the Manager Panel, select Survey from the left navigation.

Click on "Create New" to create your survey

You will then have the option to choose whether you want to create a survey from scratch or use one of our pulse and performance survey templates. For this example, we are going to select Survey From Scratch.

Select whether you want a Pulse Survey or Performance Survey. If you need a reminder of the difference between the two, view the article here.
- Provide a Title and Description and select Create Survey.
- Question types include Single Choice, Checkboxes, or Short Answer
- Mark any required answers
- Easily add answer options or additional questions
Tip: Aim to keep pulse surveys between 3-7 questions. Pair action-oriented questions ("I have seen positive changes since XYZ") with Likert scale responses ("Strongly Agree, Agree, ..."). Capture qualitative data with a follow-up open-ended question.
4. Under settings, you're able to target your survey to different participants based on the type of survey you are creating (pulse vs. performance):
- Pulse Surveys
- Participants: Choose between Everyone, specific Teams, or specific People.
- Date: How long you would like the survey to be available?
- Additional Settings: There are additional settings that allow you to add reward points for survey completion and add specific survey instructions.
- Performance Surveys are activated by Hire-Date meaning participants will receive an invitation to complete the survey on various dates according to their hire date.
- Participants: Choose between Everyone or specific Teams.
- Sessions: Select how long you want to wait after their hire date for the survey to be sent out.
- Date: How long you would like the survey to be available?
- Coordinator: Who will supervise the survey and have access to the survey results.

Additional Settings: There are additional settings that allow you to enable access to survey results for selected people, add reward points for survey completion, send reminder emails to participants, and add specific survey instructions.
