This email highlights top-performing team members, recent recognitions, and overall participation trends, helping you stay connected with your team. Use the digest to celebrate achievements, recognize contributions, and encourage ongoing engagement within your team.
Upcoming Celebrations
Each week, the Manager Weekly Digest includes a preview of upcoming team celebrations, helping you recognize important milestones for your direct reports.
Possible Scenarios in Your Digest:
Multiple Upcoming Celebrations: If there are multiple birthdays or anniversaries, up to three will be listed.
Single Upcoming Celebration: If only one celebration is happening that week, it will be displayed.
No Upcoming Celebrations: If no team members have a birthday or work anniversary that week, the section will still appear with a fixed title "š Exciting times ahead!".
Viewing More Celebrations
To see all upcoming celebrations in your organization, click "See more celebrations from your team" in your digest. Youāll be directed to the User Panel ā Home screen, where you can view all upcoming milestones for your team.
Celebrate Your Team
Recognizing work anniversaries is a great way to show appreciation for your team members' dedication and contributions. In the Manager Weekly Digest, you'll find upcoming anniversaries along with easy ways to celebrate.
Ways to Celebrate:
- Comment on an anniversary post to share your congratulations.
- Send a gift as a token of appreciation.
- Shout them out in a team meeting or with a personal message.
Pending Recognition Requests
Stay on top of your team's recognition activity by reviewing any pending requests in the Approval Center. *Only applies to organizations with approval workflows.
If You Have Pending Requests:
Your Manager Weekly Digest will display the number of recognition requests awaiting your approval. Click "Review them in the app!" to navigate directly to: š Approval Center ā Received Approval Requests ā Pending
If You Have No Pending Requests:
Great news! If there are no pending requests, this section will simply confirm that you're all caught up.
Regularly reviewing and approving recognition ensures your team feels valued and appreciated!
Your Last Recognition
Recognizing your teamās contributions is a simple but powerful way to boost engagement and morale. Your Manager Weekly Digest includes a snapshot of your recent recognition activity, to your team.
If Youāve Recognized Someone on your Team Before:
You'll see:
- "Your Last Recognition" followed by the date of your most recent recognition
- Your profile photo and the recipientās profile photo(s)
- The post title and a preview of the recognition message
If You Havenāt Recognized Anyone on Your Team Yet:
Your digest will display a friendly reminder with:
- Your profile photo
- A placeholder recipient photo
- A message encouraging you to send your first recognition

Recognition Leaders
Celebrate the most engaged team members! The Manager Weekly Digest highlights the top three direct reports who have been the most active in giving and receiving recognition over the past 30 days.
How Ranking Works:
Each team memberās score is based on:
- Recognition Score = Recognitions Given + Recognitions Received
- Points Score = Points Earned from Recognitions Given + Points Earned from Recognitions Received
- Total Score = Recognition Score + Points Score
Top performers are displayed in descending order based on their total score. If multiple users share the same score within the top three, they will be grouped together in a single row with their avatars displayed.
Recognizing and engaging with teammates fosters a positive team cultureākeep up the great work!
Direct Reports Not Engaged Recently
Stay aware of team members who may need encouragement to participate. This section lists up to 10 direct reports who have not engaged in Cooleaf within the last 30 days.
Who Appears in This Section?
A team member is considered "Not Active" if they havenāt:
- Created or scheduled a post
- Given or scheduled a recognition
- Redeemed or gifted a reward
- Commented, liked, or engaged in discussions
- Participated in a challenge, event, or survey
- Updated their profile or completed an onboarding task (for new hires)
