Use Cooleaf to Engage Employees

It’s no secret that employee engagement can be challenging — and costly. Human resource teams spend up to 15% of their time managing employee engagement, and yet 70% of American employees remain disengaged. Low employee engagement leads to higher turnover, which can cost an employer up to 1.5 times the employee’s original salary.

Engaged employees are happier, more productive, and more likely to stick around. The Cooleaf platform uses a targeted combination of behavior-driven incentives, spot recognition, and unique challenges to help you foster a stronger workplace community.

In addition to unlimited manager-to-peer recognition and peer-to-peer recognition, work anniversary and birthday recognition, and internal communications, our platform includes a custom engagement plan to incentivize your employees to meet wellness and business goals.

How It Works

Step 1

First, our Customer Success team will send you a custom engagement plan based on your organization’s goals. These might include:

  • Personal and Professional Development
  • Targeted Business Objectives
  • Wellness
  • Team-Building

The program plan includes the date, name, number of points, applicable tag, and concept for each challenge.

Once you’re happy with the engagement plan, sit back and let Cooleaf take over. These challenges will run automatically according to the dates listed.

Step 2

One week before each challenge is scheduled to be published, you’ll receive an email notification from our Customer Success team.

The email will contain a link to preview the challenge:

If you’re happy with the challenge, no action is needed. The challenge will be published automatically on the date listed in your program plan.

Need to make some changes? You’ll also have full control to edit this challenge in your organization’s Admin panel.

Step 3

Use the Challenges page in Manage view to create and manage your drafted challenges.

On the Drafts page, you’ll see the drafted challenge, scheduled and ready to be published. Here, you can make changes to the draft, edit the publish date, or cancel the challenge.
